Smt. Veena Agarwal, our revered Founder Chairperson, was an affable, soft spoken, unassuming and truly religious minded person. She was a philanthropist at heart. It was due to her these adorable attributes that she endeared herself to who so ever came in her contact. She was an active social worker. She had espoused many social causes close to her heart and contributed immensely for them.

She had a great love and keen interest in education for she believed that it was one of the most powerful means for upliftment of down trodden and promotion and inculcation of scientific temper among masses. It was her vision and dream that laid the foundation of the institute. She nurtured it with passion and missionary zeal to make it carve a niche for itself in the field of Engg. & Management.

She had been a veritable source of inspiration for us and shall remain so for ever. We, the BBDITians, shall carry forward with same passion and unwavering commitment the rich legacy left behind by her.
