In honor of International Earth Day on April 22, 2025, BBDIT, College of Pharmacy proudly joined millions around the globe in a united effort to raise awareness about environmental protection and sustainability. This year’s theme, “Our power, Our Planet,” served as a powerful reminder of the urgent need to reduce plastic consumption and protect our planet for future generations.
The celebration kicked off with a morning tree plantation drive, where students, faculty, and volunteers came together to plant over 100 saplings in the campus park. This was followed by a vibrant Eco-awareness nukkadd natak and a Debate competition that showcased the creativity and environmental consciousness of participants.
The managment , Mr. Arpit, Ms.Ruchira Singhal, Executive Director encouraged the students on the importance of Earth Day and initiating the concept of adopting and nurturing the plant by each and every student of the campus. Dean academics Dr. Meenal Saxena, Director academics Dr. Amul Aggarwal and Director College of Pharmacy Dr. Hina Chadha emphasized that Earth Day is not just about celebrating nature—it’s about taking real, tangible steps to preserve it. Today, we commit ourselves to be responsible citizens of this planet.”
The event concluded with the release of biodegradable balloons symbolizing hope, unity, and a renewed pledge to care for Mother Earth.
22 अप्रैल, 2025 को अंतर्राष्ट्रीय पृथ्वी दिवस के सम्मान में, बीबीडीआईटी, कॉलेज ऑफ फार्मेसी पर्यावरण संरक्षण और स्थिरता के बारे में जागरूकता बढ़ाने के एकजुट प्रयास में दुनिया भर के लाखों लोगों के साथ गर्व से शामिल हुआ। इस वर्ष का विषय, “हमारी शक्ति, हमारा ग्रह,” प्लास्टिक की घटती को कम करने और भविष्य की पीढ़ियों के लिए हमारे ग्रह की रक्षा करने की तत्काल आवश्यकता पर जोर डालते हुए शक्तिशाली अनुस्मारक के रूप में कार्य करता है।
समारोह की शुरुआत सुबह के वृक्षारोपण अभियान से हुई, जहाँ छात्र, संकाय और स्वयंसेवक परिसर के पार्क में 100 से अधिक पौधे लगाने के लिए एक साथ आए। इसके बाद एक पोस्टर प्रतियोगिता आयोजित की गई, जिसमें प्रतिभागियों की रचनात्मकता और पर्यावरण चेतना प्रदर्शित की गई।
प्रबंधन, श्री अमित, सुश्री हरेरा सिंघल, कार्यकारी निदेशक ने छात्रों को पृथ्वी दिवस के महत्व पर प्रोत्साहित किया और परिसर के प्रति एकीकृत दृष्टिकोण से कार्य करने का आग्रह किया। कार्यक्रम के अंत में कॉलेज के निदेशक ने कहा कि हमें धरती की रक्षा केवल एक दिन के लिए नहीं, बल्कि हर दिन करनी चाहिए। यह आयोजन छात्रों के लिए पर्यावरण संरक्षण के प्रति जागरूकता और जिम्मेदारी का प्रतीक बना।
