The technical committee of the institute named Prodhyogeeki along with Mechanical Engineering Department organized a workshop on Mobile Robotics “uniBOTICS” in collaboration with Inventing Thoughts.
The workshop was well attended with great enthusiasm by various institutions of Delhi NCR region.
Sampark
A Bi-annual newsletter of the Institute covering all the Events, Happenings and achievements etc. of the students and Faculty. Designed and developed by the students’ committee under the guidance of faculty Editorial Board.
Arpan
BBDIT has always remained a step ahead to fulfill its responsibility towards society.
Students of BBDIT are supported to form a society “ARPAN” which is dedicated to the cause of development of the society.
Educate the underprivileged children and even the adults
Bring about awareness for the causes of and prevention from HIV/AIDS
Educate citizens of the country about their responsibility towards choosing their leaders i.e. Educating them to exercise their Right to vote.
Educate people about the environmental issue of Global Warming and arranging programs for Tree Plantation
BBDIT believes that even a single drop of one’s blood can save life of others. It regularly arranges Blood camps to help the needy.
Literary Committee
Its main objective is to enhance the literary skills of students, to bring to light the hidden talents among the students and conduct various literary events providing a platform for the students to come up with their not so known skills. The Committee conduct competitions for literary events like debates, elocution, extempore, poetry writing, essay writing for inter and intra college events. It also encourages students to attend literary events outside the college and support them to make literary contributions to the college magazines in the form of articles, poetry and other write-ups. It strives in developing an unbounded and strong platform to bring overall development of the students. It not only commits itself to the English language but discovers new vistas for our mother tongue. Literary activities are the core of personality development in the present day ever changing professional environment, given the compulsions of the inescapable and apparently insurmountable gap between employable skills and non professional education levels. The committee provides opportunities to students to express themselves very confidently.
PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT
In an effort to make students more employable, trainable & presentable, BBDIT has designed a compulsory course other than the curriculum prescribed by the university. This program is conducted by highly professional and experienced individuals from the academia as well as industry. The purpose of this holistic individual development course (HIDP) is to teach ethics, values and etiquettes in the beginning and in later semesters, the focus shifts to soft skills, communication, aptitude building, logical reasoning, group discussions, personal interviews and many more. Mock drills and company specific workshops are organized for companies like SAP, IBM, and TCS etc. The objective of such workshops is to give our students firsthand experience before they appear for their final interview. BBDIT students have a reputation for drive and achievement, both during and after college. We prepare our students for life in such a way that they make the best use of their learning gained at BBDIT to thrive in their career of choice.
Students can also get more information about their areas of interest from alumni who have worked in those fields. The Training and Placement Cell maintains a network of alumni, parents, faculty, and staff whom students can reach out to for advice and guidance.
